We were approached by our client HGI Generators, who were looking for a promotional gift. They wanted something other than the standard mouse mat or pen, something a little bit different. As a Company who deal with all types of engineers the brief they gave to us – they wanted a “high quality functional item that would fit in your pocket”.
We submitted our design for the ‘Monster Tool’. Made from 304 Stainless steel, the tool is waterjet cut, hand polished to a brushed finish and finally Laser etched with the Clients logo. The tool comprises a spanner that fits M10 to M3 nuts. A flat head and pozi screwdriver and a pry-bar are the other basic functions this tool has.

Synergetix have shown a month on month growth over the past seven months, already achieving their most optimistic target for the Year ending December 2010. We would therefore like to thank our customers both old and new who have both supported us and given the opportunity to us prove we can manage their needs.

The job entailed manufacturing 40,000 plastic end caps to cap off a bespoke Aluminium extrusion.  The quality of these components was paramount for the $600M redevelopment project at Queen Alia Airport in Jordan.

The initial design was submitted to our client by presenting a 3D CAD model of how the end cap would look. Once agreed, a sample end cap was ’3D printed’ to allow the client to physically see what the finished part would look like on the extrusion. A colour matching exercise then took place to mix the colour to the exact finish of the powder coated Aluminium. Our client rejected the opportunity to save costs via China based on the importance of this ‘final touch’ part. Working closely with our UK partner, the tooling was designed and manufactured resulting in the job being delivered on time and within budget.

Subsequently, we now have our second volume project for 250,ooo for a point of sale item for a major retailer.
